The 19th ranked KU soccer team suffered its 3rd consecutive Big 12 defeat, this one coming at the hands of the Texas Longhorns. The loss drops Kansas to 8-4-1 overall and 0-3 in Big 12 play. Kansas took a 1-0 lead in the second half, but a Becca Rivera goal and a Kylie Doniak penalty in the 78th minute gave the Longhorns an advantage they would not relinquish.
Catlin Noble got the lone goal for the Hawks, which was her 2nd of the weekend.
Kansas next plays host to Texas Tech on Friday and Colorado on Sunday.
